A RARE PAIR OF EARLY MING CLOISONNE ENAMEL AND GILT BRONZE PRICKET CANDLESTICKS
EARLY 15TH CENTURY
The flaring bases, drip pans and shafts decorated with scrolling lotus in red, yellow, green and royal blue on a turquoise ground, the bases with two bands of interlocking key-pattern and the shaft terminating within an engraved gilt-bronze knop supporting the pricket (minor restoration)--7¼in.
