A LARGE PAIR OF CLOISONNE ENAMEL AND GILT-BRONZE 'HUNDRED DEER' BALUSTER VASES

Each decorated with an allover design of deer variously grazing, resting and leaping around in a rocky landscape below cranes, some in flight amongst cloud-scrolls, others perched on pine and prunus branches, the flaring neck applied with gilt-bronze chilong handles inset with turquoise and red enamel dots (some restoration)--29¼in.
