Covered on the exterior with a finely pitted glaze of soft crushed strawberry colour thinning to a paler tone in a line encircling the stem just below the bowl, interior of the bowl and stem foot glazed white, the nianhao in a line inside the foot--7 1/8in. (8.1cm.) diam., box
