A FINE PAIR OF FAMILLE-ROSE YELLOW-GROUND 'MEDALLION' BOWLS
DAOGUANG SEAL MARKS AND OF THE PERIOD

The exterior of each painted with four landscape roundels executed in grisaille, wash, and coloured enamels, and divided by flower-heads borne on leafy tendrils, all reserved on a yellow sgraffiato ground, the centre of the interior with a central flower-head radiating ruyi-heads in gilt and iron-red alternating with blue flower-heads--5 7/8in. (15cm.) diam. (2)
