AN ENAMELLED YIXING BROWN POTTERY LEYS JAR, ZHADOU
18TH/19TH CENTURY

Decorated around the bulbous body in blue and white enamels with a band of peony design, between classic scroll and keyfret bands around the foot, the flaring neck with a band of upright leaves below a band of ruyi-lappets, the underside and interior enamelled green--3½in. (8.9cm) high
