A FINE DOUCAI 'NARCISSUS' DISH
ENCIRCLED YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARK AND OF THE PERIOD

The centre delicately painted in the medallion with narcissus in cream enamels, a red-berried nandina and a small coral and aubergine lingzhi springing up from between tufts of grass and graceful pencilled and shaded ornamental rockwork in underglaze-blue, the reverse with three further clusters of rocks, two with bamboo and lingzhi, one with further narcissus, the last with fruiting nandina, all within double-line borders, small glaze flaw to base underside--8¼in. (21cm.) diam.
