Of compressed globular shape with tall flaring neck carved in shallow relief with ruyi-lappets above a band of bats on the shoulder and interlocking ruyi-heads at the foot, the rim carved in high relief with a row of adjoining bats, the shallow domed cover surmounted by a waisted circular finial issuing four ruyi-heads above carved with shou and xi characters suspending loose rings, the translucent stone of slightly mottled tone (extremity of cover rim minutely polished)--6in.
