MID QING DYNASTY
The first carved as a gu of quatrefoil section, the middle section with archaistic taotie masks between stiff plantain leaves on the spreading foot and neck, with raised flanges at each corner; the second a ewer with similar decoration and reticulated dragon handle opposite the spout, the cover surmounted with a twisting chilong, the stones of well matched highly translucent pale celadon tones--6in.
