The squared lanterns set with rectangular windows painted with birds perched on flowering branches of magnolia and other flowers and with butterflies in flight, and waisted above and below, intricately carved all over with filigree designs, each top with four chains for attachment to its bracket, cast as a dragon's head and neck and with a fitting for securing to a wall--the lanterns 30.5cm. high (2)
