A LARGE BLUE AND WHITE 'DRAGON' DISH
QIANLONG SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD

Painted in strong blue tones in to simulate heaping and piling to the centre of the interior with a ferocious full-faced horned and winged five-clawed dragon chasing a flaming pearl amidst a composite floral scroll, the well with two five-clawed dragons striding amidst a further floral scroll below a border of cresting waves at the flared rim, the exterior similarly painted with two striding dragons (fine hairline and rim crack)--20in. (51cm.) diam.
