Inscribed and signed: painted by Wang Duo at the age of fifty-two.

Dated: on the fourth day of the eighth month in the sixteenth year of the chongzheng era (1643)

Dedicated to the Tangong (Zhang Jinyan, 17th century)

One seal of the artist: Wang Duo Zhi Yin

One colophone by the artist indicating that Wang Yung, brother of the artist, found this painting in a market after the overthrow of the Ming Dynasty. The colophone is dated 1646 and signed: Wang Duo, with one seal: Duo

Six collectors' seals

Inscribed again by the artist, on a piece of paper mounted next to the painting, listing six names of his friends who watched him paint the painting. Signed with one seal: Wang Duo Zhi Yin.
