A FINE PAIR OF LATE MING CLOISONNE ENAMEL AND GILT BRONZE PRICKET CANDLESTICKS
LATE 16TH/17TH CENTURY

The flaring base, lower drip pan interiors and shafts decorated with scrolling lotus in red, yellow, green and deep blue on turquoise ground, the lower-drip pan circumscribed with a band of peonies, the upper-pan and lower base with a border of formal scroll--10 1/4in. (25.9cm.) high (2)
