A WUCAI 'DRAGON AND PHOENIX' BOWL
DAOGUANG SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD
Enamelled to the exterior with striding green and red dragons in pursuit of 'flaming pearls' amidst floral sprays, divided by two descending phoenixes, all beneath a narrow band with the bajixiang interspersed with ruyi-heads, the interior with an iron-red dragon ascending to reach for the 'flaming pearl'--6 1/8in. (15.6cm.) diam.
