A MAGNIFICENT GROUP OF GOLD AND TURQUOISE INLAID GOLD ACCESSORIES Tang dynasty
Comprising a large leaf-shaped pendant, a pair of tri-lobed pendants, with another ten quatrefoil ornaments, and four half-hexafoil ornaments, all completely composed of delicate filigree floral swirls supporting gold cloisons, some enclosing calibre-cut turquois, enhanced with granulation throughout; together with a pair of ear pendants, the panels designed with an assymetrical pattern of overlapping inlaid turquoise leaves and flowers, further enhanced with granulated gold hemispheres, borders and filigree sides, probably 7th century, the ornaments with holes on the reverse for attachment, one ornament slightly dented, a few replacement turquoise, some of the turquoise re attached using glue (19)
