The flawless, translucent brilliant green stone, streaked with emerald green, very well engraved on one rim with the characters xin you heng tang zhi, Dao Guang bing wu: made for the Hall of Constancy in the 25th year of the reign of the Emperor Dao Guang (1846), of characteristic form, together with an antique fitted silk container, of silk embroidered with a three-legged toad and as dragonfly amidst flower sprays, dated 1846
