The bright apple green hairpin terminal well carved as a vase holding a peach spray, surmounted by a bat, forming the rebus fushou pingan (a peaceful, fortuitous, long life), with a small earpick spoon at one end, in a simple gold mount, enhanced by a curving line of mixed cut diamonds, the hairpin late Qing dynasty, the gold mount Chinese circa 1930, the diamonds circa 1950

thickness approximately 3.9 mm
diamond mount unsigned but by Gubelin
daxingying shopmark and Chinese 20 carat gold hallmarks
