Further details
It is unclear whether any such air service between Ulan Bator and Harbin existed, but a service between Ulan Bator and Ulan Ude was opened in 1929 or 1930. Meiso Mizuhara had two similar covers to this and doubted their authenticity because of the lack of a direct air link between Mongolia and China. An article on the above cover appeared in the April 1994 edition of the "Journal of Chinese Philately".
