The circular painted enamel clockface signed Lepaute, Hlger du Roy and housed within a fluted marble plinth applied with floral mounts and frieze depicting frolicking cherubs, surmounted with a figure of a cherub on a naturalistic base signed Falconnet, flanked by similar candelabra ends, the putto and young satyr upholding two candlearms entwined with grape clusters ending in leaf-tip cast drip-pans and bobêches
