The clock having a circular dial decorated with putti within Roman numerals housed within an arched rounded rectangular case inset with cobalt blue ground figural and foliate panels framed by leaf-tip and beaded borders, surmounted by a similarly decorated potpourri vase applied with caryatids above S-scroll mounts, on a conforming base raised on toupie feet, the central porcelain plaque signed D.P. Boucher, the movement stamped E. FLET, each candelabra having scrolling candlearms ending in enamel bobêches above an urn-form support depicting figures and musical intruments in reserves against a cobalt blue-ground above similarly decorated plinth bases raised on toupie feet
