A similar lion seal was included in the Southeast Asian Ceramic Society Exhibiton of Chinese White Wares, Singapore 1973, Catalogue no. 165; one with a cub at its side, in the Gulbenkian Museum of Oriental Art and Archaeology, University of Durham, is illustrated in the Malcolm MacDonald Collection Catalogue, pl.
