Discovered in 1771, the Warwick vase currently resides in the Glasgow Museum. The popularity of this particular model led to numerous reductions in silver, bronze, terracotta and porcelain. (Cf. F. Haskell and N. Penny, Taste and the Antique, Yale University Press, 1981, p. 67)
