Of rounded rectangular shape decorated in iro-e takamaki-e with a yamabushi greeting two children beneath a large pine, a crane flying overhead, the yamabushi's pack designed with a minute herringbone pattern of inlaid aogai, the large branching pine trunk on the reverse, details of the continuous landscape rendered in hiramaki-e, nashiji, and kirigane, interior cases nashiji; fitted with a lacquered bead ojime and a box netsuke lacquered with cranes wading in a stream--3 3/8in.
