The square box fitted with a removable, shallow square tray and four removable round incense containers, designed on the exterior in gold and black togidashi on a red ground with lotus medallions and on the interior in roiro and nashiji, the tray patterned with two folded incense packets in gold, silver and black togidashi on a ground matching the interior of the box, the small circular containers ornamented with a lotus in iro-e togidashi on a yellow-brown ground, the interiors roiro and nashiji--2 7/8 x 2 7/8 x 1¼in. (7.5 x 7.5 x 3.3cm.)
