The small rectangular box decorated with chrysanthemums in low relief in gold and nashiji, kirigane and kimpun on a roiro-nuri ground, the interior of the lid decorated in gold and silver low relief with cherry blossoms and petals falling on a flowing stream rendered in gold and silver togidashi against a background of roiro-nuri and mura-nashiji, continued in the interior of the box, upper edges of the box nashiji and roiro as is the base, rims fundame--3 5/8 x 3 x ¾in. (9.2 x 7.7 x 9.5cm.)
