Of circular shape decorated over most of the flat cover and the edge of the lower section with a single chrysanthemum blossom of gold hiramaki-e, the center of the flower tiny raised dots of gold lacquer embellished with nashiji, the interior roiro, signed in gold lacquer on the recessed base, in wood box dated Bunsei 4 (1821) with attribution to Toshihide, age 65, and sealed--2 1/8in. (5.3cm.) high, 3¼in. (8.2cm.) diameter
