The rectangular chest with drop front enclosing three large and two small bottom drawers and mounted with chrysanthemum-engraved silver fittings and silver handle; decorated on each outer face with chrysanthemums blooming by a bamboo fence and stream in gold and silver hiramaki-e, togidashi, takamaki-e, hirame and okibirame on a nashiji ground, the fronts of the drawers decorated with rows of crests on a nashiji ground, the back of the door, interiors of drawers and base also nashiji--8 5/8 x 5½ x 7¼in. (21.8 x 13.9 x 18.4cm.)
