The bow-back toprail continuing to straight corner posts extending to the back legs beneath the unusual fan-shaped frame with soft-mat seat, the backsplat with a beaded ogival medallion containing a stylized shou character partially formed from chi dragons, the curving armrests continuing to the front corner posts, supported on serpentine side posts, the legs joined by humpback stretchers set with struts at the front and back, the footrest supported on a conforming humpback stretcher, with baitong mounts at the seat corners and on the armrest joins
