A FINELY-CARVED RUBY AND SNOWSTORM OVERLAY GLASS BOTTLE VASE

The globular body raised on a separately anealed, flared, pedestal foot and surmounted by a thick-walled cylindrical neck heat-fused to the body, carved through the translucent claret-red overlay to the bubble-suffused, clear glass ground in deep relief with a pine-studded landscape scene of farmers and boy attendants on the body below a band of lappets on the shoulder, the neck decorated with birds alighting on and flying amidst jagged prunus branches below pendent blades on the neck
