KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD
With deep rounded sides rising to a flared rim, well painted inside and out in vivid tones of underglaze blue with a bold pattern of leafy lotus scroll, the exterior with a band of lappets issuing from the foot and the interior with a demi-flowerhead band at the rim, all within double line borders; together with a small blue and white dish, Kangxi six-character mark in underglaze blue within a double circle and of the period, decorated with a central roundel of lotus borne on leafy scroll, the design repeated on the exterior
