The neck well painted with two dragons leaping from a band of waves in pursuit of flaming pearls below an upright rim, the knop with sprigs of finger citron, peaches, pomegranates and chrysanthemums separated by V-shaped panels of clouds and diaper, set between rows of faux bosses and ruyi-head borders, and the foot with a scene of birds, prunus, bamboo and rocks, all in penciled blue line under a pale blue glaze of slight lavender tone thinning on the raised borders and rim edges
