A FAMILLE ROSE SGRAFFIATO-GROUND BOWL
DAOGUANG SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD

The exterior of the flaring, rounded sides decorated in famille rose enamels with four circular medallions of 'antiques' separated by foliate sprays, all reserved on a ruby-colored sgraffiato ground, the interior decorated in underglaze blue with a highly stylized central medallion below four ribbon-tied lanterns in the well
5 7/8in. (14.9cm.) diam.
