GUANGXU SIX-CHARACTER MARKS IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD

Each decorated on the exterior with dragons in green and iron-red striding through blossoming branches in pursuit of flaming pearls and separated by descending phoenix, all below a band of ruyi heads and the bajixiang, with a further iron-red dragon and pearl amidst green flames in the interior, all within double blue line borders; together with a copper-red glazed meiping, 18th/19th century, covered with a thick peachbloom-type glaze mottled in apple green
