A YELLOW AND GREEN-GLAZED OVOID JAR
WANLI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD

Decorated with four ogival cartouches separated by the bajixiang arranged in stacked pairs, each cartouche enclosing a five-claw dragon leaping amidst small clouds above waves and rocks in pursuit of a flaming pearl, with a band of various detached flower sprigs below and a band of petal lappets above, all incised and covered in a mustard-yellow glaze reserved on a pale green ground, the unglazed tapering neck and the flat ring below replaced
