A GREEN-GLAZED MOLDED RED POTTERY HU
HAN DYNASTY
The high shoulder of the tapering body crisply molded with a pair of mask and ring handles separating two hunting scenes incorporating equestrian archers, bears, boars, tigers and mountains, set between single and double bowstring borders, covered with a crackled glaze of deep, leaf- green tone continuing over the mouth rim; together with a small green-glazed red pottery model of a ram pen, Han dynasty, modeled as a ram standing within a walled circular pen with a roofed entry cut into one side, the glaze now degraded to a silvery iridescence
