the movement 18th century, signed Henrius Van Wÿmen, Amsterdam
With scroll pediment flanked by giltwood winged female figure finials and a figure of Titan above an arched glazed door and sides, the case with a glazed pendulum aperture mounted with Europa riding on a bull on bracket feet, the dial signed Henrius van Wyman, Amsterdam, on a folaite pierced and engraved silvered plaque in the matted center with calendar aperture and seconds ring, arcade-engraved silvered chapter ring, urn-and-eagle spandrels, six tune selection slide by III, the arch painted with a typical Dutch canal scene with automaton rocking ships in the fore-ground and penny moonphase set in to the background, the three train movement with anchor escapement and Dutch strike on two bells and playing music on twelve bells
