Shallow rectangular with rounded corners, decorated overall with translucent pale green enamel over alternating bands engraved with laurel leaves or fleurs-de-lys with pale mauve stripes between, with spring-hinge and narrow curved thumbpieces, marked inside each cover, with import marks on one thumbpiece
