Rectangular, enamelled overall in translucent green over waved ground, each end with rose-cut diamond bands within blue champlevé borders, edged by a gold band with dot and dash decoration, the hinged cover with rose-diamond thumbpiece, the interior with three compartments, one containing a gold ribbed lipstick-holder, the interior of the cover with a mirror, marked on interior of base and compartment covers, and lipstick-holder
