Rectangular of oval section, enamelled overall in translucent white over a waved ground, each end applied with a chased and engraved palmate band, the hinged cover with rose-diamond set thumbpiece and double-headed eagle at one corner, marked inside cover and base and inside flange, in original silk and velvet lined wooden box, the cover stamped in Russian, 'Fabergé St. Petersburg Moscow London' with Imperial warrant
