Compressed circular, the hinged base and cover of translucent red guilloché enamel with mounted 10-ruble pieces of Catherine the Great dated 1765 and 1769, on the cover bordered by rose-diamonds, the base by chased and engraved laurel band, with floral thumbpiece of a cushion-cut yellow diamond flanked by two rose-diamond trefoils, marked on rim
