FIRST EDITION, second issue. Linder states 7500 copies were printed in November, 1903. Quinby 5A; Linder, p. 423; this issue in dark blue boards not in V & A. A very fine copy.
Linder states 20,000 copies bound, in either grey or dark blue boards, were printed in August and September, 1903. Since there is no difference noted between the August and September printings, this third printing with textual change would be a second issue. Some copies of the first edition, second issue have broken types on pages 34, 39, and 45. This copy has no broken type on these pages.
