"FLOPSY IS GETTING VERY OLD & STIFF"

"Yes - I have been frightfully busy, and I am still! But I must spare a minute, especially if you are laid up with mumps. How horrid! The little bird and cherries is quite good. It is rather a funny nest, how does it stick to the branch? We had lots of nests in the garden this year, and a brood of young owls in the barn, they don't build a nest, the eggs are just laid on some boards high up in the loft. They are very comical while they are fluffy; just like aged-aged-old men with fluffy white hair & hooked noses. 'Tommy' has no kittens just now. The guinea pig is very chirpy, he twitters loudly when he wants dinner. I have 2 rabbits still, but the brown one - Flopsy - is getting very old & stiff..."
