The long-necked, round shouldered vase form jug on short base, with applied basketweave band below shoulder, the high-arched loop handle with coiled joins, the hinged slightly raised cover, covering subtle spout, and topped by fluted baluster finial, base underside with presentation inscription for silver wedding anniversary dated 1875 1892--9in. (22.8cm.) high; the flaring oval basket on four tapering anthemion supports, the sides pierced with trelliswork, with foliate scroll applied rim quartered by foliate arabesque--10in.
