Apparently Augsburg, circa 1743, maker's mark ?ICB in oval
Of shaped rectangular outline, on four knurled supports, the front and back flat-chased with foliage centered shell, the sides with paterae, the hinged cover with molded corners, the center flat-chased with rocaille and scroll arabesque within matting, enclosed by conforming decoration, the interior with three sections--2½in. (6.3cm.) long, 2oz.
