A DANISH SILVER TWO-LIGHT CANDELABRUM
Maker's mark of Georg Jensen Silversmithy, designed by Johan Rohde, no. 282, post-1945
With subtle hammered finish, the molded rising circular base issuing tapered stem, lower body applied with fronds enclosing coiled scrolls at intervals, with openwork scroll knop above flanked by two upcurved branches with pendant coiled and beaded scrolls supporting octagonal socket with fixed nozzle, centering double openwork standard--13in. (33cm.) high, 36oz.

A conforming pair, 1925-1932, were sold at Christie's, Park Avenue, on December 14, 1996, lot 27.
