Constructed in the the shape of a sumo referee's fan, decorated in gold and silver takamaki-e, kirigane, hirame, and red lacquer on a fundame ground with clouds and character inscriptions below an inlaid gilt-metal sun and inlaid silver moon, on one side, and with confronted dragons and clouds on the other, the sides gyobu, the interior cases dense yellow nashiji; fitted with a wood netsuke of two puppies and bead ojime--4in. (10.1cm.) high
