Constructed in the form of two rectangular playing cards, one 'overlapping' the other, the faces of each card decorated with two kings from a European deck and the backs of the cards patterned with silver diaperwork, all in gold, brown and silver takamaki-e, nashiji, hiramaki-e and gold and silver hirame, the interior cases nashiji; fitted with a box netsuke and a bead ojime--3¼in. (8.3cm.) high
