Set on a high ring foot with two flattened large sides and rounded shoulders below the neck, inlaid in white and black slip on each of the flat sides with a foliate-shaped panel of scrolling lotus and on the curved sides with large rectangular panels of leaf arabesques, inlaid in black and white slip reserved on a ground of 'rope curtain' inlaid in white slip, below a horizontal band of foliate scroll in white slip and a collar of overlapping leaves of white and black slip below a circular band of key frets inlaid in white slip, covered overall save the foot with a celadon-type glaze--7¼in. (18.4cm.) high
