etching and drypoint, 1879-80, on laid paper, a fine impression, the plate tone selectively wiped to enhance the watery reflections in the foreground, fourth state (of seven), with thread margins or trimmed on the platemark by the artist, signed with the butterfly and inscribed 'imp' in pencil on the tab, a tiny printing flaw to the right of the figure, a short, skillfully repaired tear to the left of the tab, showing mostly only on the reverse, otherwise generally in very good condition, framed
