etching and touches of drypoint, 1635, on fine laid paper, with an indistinct initials countermark, first state (of two), a fine impression, printed with a light, delicate tone, with touches of burr among the group of figures in the middle distance top right and down the back of Christ's robe, the densely etched lines bottom left printing very clearly and without wear, but with a patch of gray wash added at the extreme left, with margins (small on three sides, wide at the bottom), slight foxing
