etching and drypoint, 1642, first state (of two), on fine laid paper, without watermark, a fine impression, with the very lightly etched lines to Lazarus' forehead and the delicate vertical wiping scratches on the rock behind him characteristic of the earliest impressions, displaying very good contrasts among the figures surrounding Christ, with narrow to thread margins, the diagonal lines in front of Mary's chest redefined in ink, generally in very good condition
